1) What these terms cover

IN SHORT:
These terms govern using the Aethra Discord bot and the Aethra web dashboard.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a contract between you and Aethra regarding your use of (a) the Aethra Discord bot (the "Bot") and (b) the Aethra website and dashboard (the "Service"). By installing the Bot, using the Service, or accessing our sites, you agree to these Terms.

2) Eligibility & accounts

IN SHORT:
You must be old enough for Discord, follow Discord's ToS, and keep your account secure.
  • You must comply with Discord's Terms and Community Guidelines.
  • You are responsible for actions taken under your Discord account/server.
  • We may suspend access if we suspect misuse, fraud, or policy violations.

3) Bot permissions & your responsibilities

IN SHORT:
Grant only the permissions you need; you're responsible for how the Bot is used in your server.
  • You choose which permissions to grant when inviting the Bot.
  • You are responsible for configuring roles, channels, and moderation settings.
  • Do not use Aethra to harass, spam, or violate laws or Discord policies.

4) Plans, billing, and REFUNDS

IN SHORT:
If you buy premium or credits, the purchase is final. **Refunds are NOT allowed.**
  • Prices, tiers, and features may change; taxes may apply.
  • Charges are processed by our payment provider. You authorize recurring charges if you choose a subscription.
  • All payments are final. Refunds are not permitted for any reason, including unused time or removal of the Bot.
  • If required by law in your region, you may have statutory rights; nothing here limits non-waivable rights.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Refunds are NOT allowed. All purchases are final and non-refundable. Please review your purchase carefully before completing any transaction.

5) Acceptable use

No abuse, spam, exploitation, or attempts to break/overload the service.
  • No reverse engineering, scraping, or circumventing rate limits.
  • No using the Bot for illegal content, hate speech, doxxing, or malware.
  • We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access to protect stability and users.

6) Content & data

IN SHORT:
You keep ownership of your content; you give us permission to process it to run Aethra.

You retain rights to content you submit. You grant Aethra a limited license to process, store, and display such content as needed to operate features (e.g., moderation logs, tickets, analytics). You must have permission to share anything you submit.

7) Service changes & availability

IN SHORT:
We improve Aethra continuously and may change or discontinue features.
  • We may ship updates, add/remove features, or perform maintenance.
  • There is no guaranteed uptime; we provide reasonable efforts for reliability.

8) Termination

IN SHORT:
You can remove the Bot anytime. We may suspend or terminate for violations or risk.
  • Removing the Bot revokes its permissions; some data may persist in logs/backups.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or create risk.

9) Disclaimers & liability

IN SHORT:
Aethra is provided "as is"; our liability is limited.
  • To the maximum extent allowed by law, Aethra disclaims warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the last 3 months (if any).

10) Changes to these terms

We'll post updates with a new effective date; continued use means you accept the changes.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above shows the latest version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
